Update 15 July 2026: Bug fixed in version 3.6.320
This issue has been resolved. Update your TomTom app to version 3.6.320 or later on Google Play to get the fix.
Seeing a blank map after a map update or install? Follow these steps to get back on the road.
- Fully close the GO Expert app and open it again.
If you still see an empty map:
- Delete the affected map
In GO Expert, go to Settings > Map & Display > Downloaded maps. Delete the map that appears blank. - Clear the app cache and data in Android
On your phone, go to Settings > Apps > TomTom GO > Storage. Tap Clear cache, then tap Clear data. - Sign in and download your map again
Open GO Expert, tap Log in, and sign in to the account you purchased the app with. - Go to Settings > Map & Display > Downloaded maps and download your map again.
- Restart the app once more
Close and reopen GO Expert to finish up.
If you still see an empty map you need to remove and install the app from the Play Store again.
