If you are experiencing issues with MyDrive Connect application, follow these steps:
Windows
- Close MyDrive Connect completely from the notification area, right-click on the MyDrive Connect icon and click on Quit.
- Uninstall MyDrive Connect via the Control Panel. See: Uninstall application from your Windows computer .
- Check each username profile (marked as here) and make sure the TomTom folders are deleted from the following locations:
- C:\Users\username\AppData\Local
- C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming
- Restart the computer.
- Reinstall MyDrive Connect.
- Click Installing MyDrive Connect and Download.
- Follow the installation wizard.
macOS
- Right-Click the MyDrive Connect in the Dock then choose Quit to close it.
- Uninstall MyDrive Connect.
- In the Finder menu, click GO and then Applications.
- Drag MyDrive Connect to the trash.
- Alternatively, select MyDrive Connect and then, in the Finder menu, click File and Move to Trash.
- Delete MyDrive Connect folder/files from the Library.
- Go to Finder.
- In the top Apple menu, click GO.
- Click on Library (if you cannot see it on the menu, press Alt on the keyboard).
- Go to Application Support and delete the TomTom folder/file.
- Now go back to the Library, go to the Caches folder, and delete the TomTom folder/file here as well.
- Important : Empty the trash
- Re-install MyDrive Connect.
- Click Installing MyDrive Connect and Download.
- Double-click on the file MyDriveConnect.dmg in the Downloads folder.
- Follow the installation wizard.
