If the GO Navigation app is crashing or freezing, try the following:
- Force Stop the TomTom GO Navigation App:
On your phone, go to Settings > Apps > TomTom GO > Force Stop. - Make sure you’re using the latest version of the app. In the Play Store, if a newer version is available, you’re shown Update. If no update is available, you’re shown Open.
- Clear cache and data for the GO Navigation App:
On your phone, go to Settings > Apps > TomTom GO > TomTom GO > Storage and tap Clear Data. This clears both, data and cache.
Note: You may need to sign into your phone again. - Relaunch the GO Navigation app.
Tip: If Help us improve is enabled in Settings > Other > Privacy, the app sends us an anonymised log the next time it’s started after a crash. We regularly monitor these logs.
