Restoring a map from a backup (TomTom HOME)

If you have made a backup of your device or if you have copied the map to your computer using TomTom HOME, you can restore the entire backup, or copy only the map.

Restore the entire backup

1. Connect your device to your computer and start TomTom HOME.

2. Click Backup and restore

3. Click Restore my device
   When the restore process has completed, click Done .

4. Click the blue eject button in the bottom right of TomTom HOME to safely disconnect your device. Disconnect your device from your computer. Your device will now load the restored map.

Copy only the map back to your device

1. Click Add Traffic, Voices, and other services then click on Items on my computer .

2. If there is a map in the list here, click the + button next to it then click Add .

3. Once the map has been restored to your device, click the blue eject button in the bottom right of TomTom HOME to safely disconnect your device. Disconnect your device from your computer. Your device will now load the restored map.
