When you create a route on Plan.TomTom.com that you want to use in the TomTom GO Navigation app, make sure you select to sync the route.
Follow these steps:
- Use the search on Plan.TomTom.com to plan a route.
- Click Save Route at the bottom.
- Click Save.
- Click Yes to sync the route.
Your route is synchronised with the GO Navigation app as a track.
If you haven’t chosen to sync your route, go to My Items > Routes and select your route. Enable Sync this route as a track with my devices.
Stops
If you added way points to your route on Plan.TomTom.com, the app respects them in the routing but they are not shown as stops. To be shown stops, create the route directly in the app.
Android only: Before saving a route you can choose Export > Send stops to device.
Route not syncing
If your new route isn’t showing in the app, make sure the sync is enabled in TomTom Services in the app. Also try signing out and back into your TomTom account.
To do this go to Menu > TomTom Services in the app.
