Installing TomTom HOME

Windows

The steps below refer to Internet Explorer. If you're using another browser the steps may vary.

1. Click the Download button below to download the latest version of TomTom HOME.

   Download 
   
   We recommend downloading the file to your computer by clicking Save .

2. Once the download is complete, click Run .

   If you accidentally close the Download complete window, locate the file TomTomHOME2win.exe on your computer and double-click it. Or start the download again.
3. Select the language for the installation.
4. Click OK . The Installation Wizard for TomTom HOME opens.
5. Click Next .
6. To read the end user licence agreement, click the link www.tomtom.com/en-gb/legal .
7. To accept the terms in the licence agreement, select the box, then click Next .
8. Click Next to install to the standard installation folder, or click Change to install to a different folder.

9. Click Install . If you get one or more User Account Control messages, click Yes .

   The installation starts.
10. Once the installation is complete click Finish .

macOS

The steps below refer to the Safari browser. If you are using another browser the steps may vary.

To install TomTom HOME on your Mac, you need to download the file to your computer. Follow these steps:

1. Click the Download button below to download the latest version of TomTom HOME. 
   Download for Universal (macOS 10.14+) 
   Download for Intel macOS 10.14 & newer 
   Download for Apple Silicon (macOS 11+) 
   If your computer is running OS x versions 10.12 or 10.13 click here to download . 
   The download starts. When finished, TomTom HOME is saved in your downloads folder.
2. Click the Finder icon in the Dock to switch to Finder.
3. From the Finder menu at the top of the screen, click Go and choose Downloads . Your Downloads folder opens.
4. Double-click the TomTom HOME dmg installer file. 
   
5. Double-click TomTomHOME.mpkg . The TomTom HOME installer opens.
6. Click Continue .
7. To read the end user licence agreement, click the link www.tomtom.com/en-gb/legal .
8. Click Continue . You are asked to agree to the terms of the software license agreement.
9. Click Agree to continue.
10. Click Install .
11. Enter your admin password. If you are not allowed to administer the computer, contact the admin for the computer.
12. Click Install Software . TomTom HOME is installed on your computer.
13. Click Close .
