This error can be caused by a problem in TomTom HOME or on the navigation device itself. To identify the problem, do the following:
- Disconnect your navigation device from your computer.
- Start TomTom HOME.
If you cannot start TomTom HOME without your device connected :

If you can start TomTom HOME without your device connected :
The navigation device is causing the problem and you need to re-initialise it. For instructions on how to do this, see My device is not working. How do I restore it?
