The MyDrive app allows you to find, save, and sync destinations with a compatible smartphone .
Note : This app does not provide turn-by-turn navigation.
Transferring content
In order to use the following features you need to have an always connected navigation device or a smartphone connected device that is connected to your smartphone using Bluetooth®.
Setting a destination
- Make sure you are logged in to your TomTom account on your navigation device.
- Log in to your account on the MyDrive app on your smartphone.
- Using the app, you can select a location in the following ways:
- Select the menu button then select My Places to open the list. Select a location from your My Places list.
- Scroll and zoom on the map, then tap and hold your desired location.
- Search for an address by selecting Map in the menu and then typing in the search box.
- Once a location is selected you see a pin dropped on the map. To send the location to your navigation device, select the Send to device button.
Saving a location to My Places
- Using the app, find a location by moving around the map or by using search.
- Open the pop-up menu by selecting the menu button .
- Select Add to My Places .
- Optionally type in a name for the location you are saving.
- Select done .
- When you open My Places on any device that your account is connected to, you see this new favourite in the My Places list.
Deleting a place from My Places:
- Using the app, select My Places in the Main Menu.
- Select the location you want to remove.
- Open the pop-up menu by selecting the menu button .
- Select Delete from My Places.
This location is deleted from the My Places list on all your synced devices.
