Transferring locations to navigation device using the MyDrive app

The MyDrive app allows you to find, save, and sync destinations with a compatible smartphone .

Note : This app does not provide turn-by-turn navigation.

Transferring content

In order to use the following features you need to have an always connected navigation device or a smartphone connected device that is connected to your smartphone using Bluetooth®.

Setting a destination

1. Make sure you are logged in to your TomTom account on your navigation device.
2. Log in to your account on the MyDrive app on your smartphone.
3. Using the app, you can select a location in the following ways:
1. Select the menu button then select My Places to open the list. Select a location from your My Places list.
2. Scroll and zoom on the map, then tap and hold your desired location.
3. Search for an address by selecting Map in the menu and then typing in the search box.
4. Once a location is selected you see a pin dropped on the map. To send the location to your navigation device, select the Send to device button.

Saving a location to My Places

1. Using the app, find a location by moving around the map or by using search.
2. Open the pop-up menu by selecting the menu button .
3. Select Add to My Places .
4. Optionally type in a name for the location you are saving.
5. Select done .
6. When you open My Places on any device that your account is connected to, you see this new favourite in the My Places list.

Deleting a place from My Places:

1. Using the app, select My Places in the Main Menu.
2. Select the location you want to remove.
3. Open the pop-up menu by selecting the menu button .
4. Select Delete from My Places.

This location is deleted from the My Places list on all your synced devices.
