Connect and update your device
Download MyDrive Connect to get the latest software update for your Rider. Make sure the device is not connected to your computer before installing MyDrive Connect. If you are asked to run, open or save the file, click Open or Run .

Mount your TomTom Rider
Attach the RAM mount kit to your motorcycle.
Fix the holder to the mount and connect the wires to your bike's wiring system.
Place your Rider in the holder. You can rotate it ninety degrees to get your preferred view.

Activate services
Switch on your Rider and follow the set-up assistant, which will help you activate your free services, such as TomTom Traffic and Speed Cameras.
To make use of these services, you must connect the device to your smartphone using Bluetooth®.

Pair headset and phone
On your Rider, go to the main menu, then tap Settings . Make sure your headset and phone are in connection mode.
Then tap Bluetooth® Connections . Tap Headset to connect it and then tap Hands-free calling to search for your phone.

Plan a thrilling ride
Plan a Thrill can be found in the main menu. Tap locations on the map to plan a round-trip.
Use the buttons at the top of the screen to select the level of curves and hills.

Planning routes online
Plan routes on your computer or mobile device and put them on your TomTom Rider using MyDrive or by transferring them using USB or a memory card.
You can also share routes directly between two Rider devices. On your device, go to My Routes and tap Share Tracks to start sharing.
