If your Wi-Fi® device is not charging properly, you see the following message on your device screen:
Make sure you are using the original TomTom charger that came with your navigation device.
If you are using a TomTom mount and USB cable and are still getting same warning, follow the steps:
- Charge your device with a wall charger using the original TomTom cable for 2-3 hours. Then check if the device is charged.
- After charging, connect the device to the mount using the same USB cable. Leave it connected for 15-20 seconds. If the charging icon is not visible on the screen, the mount can be faulty.
- If your device is not charging, try charging it with a different USB cable. Then, use the same cable with the mount and check if the charging icon is visible.
- If your device is charging with a different cable and not with the provided one, the original cable might be faulty.
Note: We recommend using the original TomTom USB charger in the vehicle to charge the device. Other USB chargers may not supply sufficient voltage.
