Planning routes using latitude and longitude coordinates (Wi-Fi® devices)

Plan a route using latitude and longitude coordinates on your TomTom device. If you know the exact coordinates of your destination, follow the steps below to start navigating.

1. To the right of the search box, select the type of search. By default this is set to Current map.

2. Select Latitude Longitude.
   The keyboard changes to a special keyboard for coordinate entry.

   Tip : The example shown under the line when you open the search screen gives the coordinates for your current location.

3. As you type in the coordinates, suggestions are shown based on what you have typed. You can continue typing or select a suggestion.
   • The line under the code turns red if the coordinates are incorrect and turns blue when correct.
   • The example under the line helps you to type in the correct code.
4. Select a suggestion for your destination then select Drive.

Note : The latitude and longitude coordinates can be formatted in three different ways:

Degrees (d.d°) - 49.5000°, -123.5000°
Minutes (d°m.m') - 49°30.0', -123°30.0'
Seconds (d°m's'') - 49°30'00"N, 123°30'00"W
