You may get a File Access Error when trying one of the following:
- Creating a new Favourite
- Creating a new POI
- Changing your home location
This error is shown in the top-right corner of your device (red box with yellow text).
To solve this, do the following:
- Back up your device using Back up and restore > Back up my device in TomTom HOME.
- Clear the flash memory
Click one of the download buttons below and follow the instructions to run the TomTom Clear Flash tool.
Note: This does not erase any data from your device.
The File Access Error should be resolved.
