Here's how it works:
- When a driver reports a mobile speed camera, we show a warning to nearby drivers right away.
- Every report stays active for a limited time. If other drivers confirm it, the alert stays up longer. If drivers dismiss it, it ends sooner.
- You can help the community by tapping the large button to confirm or the small button to dismiss when you pass a reported spot.
If you didn't get a warning, it may be because:
- No one reported the camera yet.
- The report expired before you drove past.
- Other drivers dismissed it.
Good to know:
- All speed camera alerts are included in the TomTom app — no subscription needed.
- You get warnings for both mobile and fixed speed cameras.
