For the GO Discover, GO Exclusive, GO Expert, GO Camper Max, GO Expert Plus and GO Superior we release full updates to the maps approximately once every month. To check for new map updates, open the main menu (
) and go to Settings > Map & Display. The number of available updates is shown in a red dot on the Maps icon.
Select Downloaded maps and choose which region you want to update.

TomTom's latest map version is 1135. If your map version is not the latest map version available, check the overview of map release dates below to find out the age of your map.
TomTom publishes four new map releases per year. Your current map version can tell you if your map is up-to-date. See the FAQ Check map and application version for the instructions to find the current map version on your navigation device.
The version of the map is listed next to the name of the Map: 'Europe' v1000.1234, for instance. The current map version is the 4-digit number shown before the decimal point. In the example, the map version is 1000.
