The steps on how to reset your device back to factory settings depend on the type of navigation device you have.
Note : Resetting your device removes all your saved places and settings, including your language, voice, and warning settings.

- Select the Main Menu button in Map View or Guidance View to show the Main Menu.
- Scroll to the right of the screen and select the Settings button.
- Scroll to the right of this menu and select System .
- In the System menu, select Reset .
- A warning screen appears to confirm the deletion of your saved places and settings. Select Reset to confirm. Your device resets and restarts.
- Make sure that you are logged into your TomTom account on your navigation device: Go to the Main Menu Settings MyDrive. Log in with your username (email address) and password.

- Select Change preferences in the Main Menu.
- Select Reset factory settings . Confirm that you wish to proceed with the reset.
- Select your preferred settings, then wait for a valid GPS signal.
Steps for devices:
GO Discover, GO Camper Max, GO Expert, GO Exclusive, GO Expert Plus, GO Superior
- Select the Main Menu button in Map View or Guidance View to show the Main Menu.
- Scroll to the right of the screen and select the Settings button.
- Scroll to the right of this menu and select System .
- In the System menu, select Reset Device.
- A warning screen appears to confirm the deletion of your saved places and settings. Select Reset to confirm. Your device resets and restarts.
- Make sure that you are logged into your TomTom account on your navigation device: If the MyDrive option is not available on your device, Select the Main Menu button then select TomTom Services and log in with your username (email address) and password.

GO x50 LIVE, GO x40 LIVE, XL LIVE, GO LIVE 1000 series, GO LIVE 800 series, Via LIVE series, PRO 5150 TRUCK LIVE, Blue&Me TomTom 2 LIVE
- Tap Settings in the Main Menu.
- Tap Reset factory settings . Confirm that you wish to proceed with the reset.
- When prompted to select a language, press and hold the On/Off button until the device restarts and you hear the drum sounds. This can take 30 seconds or more.
- Select your preferred settings, then wait for a valid GPS signal.
