TomTom app data usage

The TomTom app is free to download and use. It uses mobile data to deliver live traffic, safety camera alerts, and other real-time information. For the best experience, we recommend using a mobile data plan.

Data use depends on a few things, such as your mobile carrier, how long you use the app, current traffic conditions, and how many live alerts you receive. To check your data use, follow the steps for your phone below.

Android

For most Android devices:

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Apps.
3. Find TomTom in the list and tap it.
4. You'll see how much mobile data TomTom used.

Samsung

For Samsung:

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Apps.
3. Find TomTom in the list and tap it. 
4. Scroll to the Usage section.
5. Under Mobile data,you'll see how much mobile data TomTom used.

iOS

For iOS:

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Mobile Service.
3. Scroll to the Mobile Data list.
4. If you don't see TomTom, tap Show All.
5. Find TomTom to see how much mobile data it used.
