If the SD card of your Smart Media-System is not recognised by MyDrive Connect, make sure you are using the SD card provided by your dealer.
The system only supports SD card provided by the Smart car dealer.
Note: Do not format the SD card as it comes with preinstalled software and it cannot be updated.
Follow these steps below below and then connect the SD card to MyDrive Connect:
- Insert the SD card into the SD slot of the centre console.
- Switch on the Smart Media-System.
Wait until it recognises the SD card and shows that it's ready to use. - Safely remove the SD card from the system.
- On the main menu, select System, then Remove SD card.
- When prompted, tap Yes to confirm.
- Press the SD card in to release it, then remove it from the slot.
- Connect it to your computer and open MyDrive Connect.
- Update your SD card.

If MyDrive Connect still doesn't recognise your Smart Media SD card, try connecting it using a different computer or contact your dealer for SD card issues.
