iOS
Starting with version 14.89.0 of the TomTom app, you can pair more than one Tom device with your iPhone.
To add another device, go to Main Menu > Tom, then tap Add device.
Here's how it works:
- Your paired devices appear at the top of the Tom menu. Swipe to select one.
- Your phone is connected to the device that shows the status In use.
- If more than one device is in range, your phone connects to the first one it reaches. For example, if two cars are parked next to each other, both devices may be in range. When you drive away, the device in the other car will go out of range and disconnect. To switch devices at any time, open the Tom menu and select the one you want.
- You can check for and install firmware updates only on the active device.
- Sound & light settings are device-specific and can be changed only on the active device.
- Alert preferences are phone-specific and apply no matter which device you're using.
Android
We're working to bring multi-device pairing to Android. For now, Android supports pairing one Tom device per phone. Thanks for your patience while we build this!
