*Off-Street Parking service is not available for Camper products such as GO Camper Tour 2nd Generation.
How to activate the services using a QR code?
There are two ways to activate a service using a QR code:
- During onboarding (after resetting your device) If you reset your device to factory settings, you go through a setup process again. After you complete setting up your phone and Wi-Fi connectivity, the QR code screen appears. Once you have a Wi-Fi connection, just tap Next. You then see the QR code before logging in to your TomTom account.
- On your device If you skip connecting to the internet during setup, you can later go to: Main Menu > TomTom Services. If you haven’t set up an internet connection yet, you’re prompted to do so first. Once you're connected, you see the QR code.
What happens after scanning the QR code
- You are taken to the TomTom website, where you need to enter your email address and payment details to complete your purchase.
- Once the activation process is finished, you will receive a free trial for services: 6 months for GO Camper Tour or 12 months for GO Navigator.
- The subscription you set up is an “Auto-Renewal” subscription. This means it automatically renews unless you cancel.
