With the transition from AmiGO to the TomTom app we're upgrading the app to our latest technical infrastructure. This allows an improved app performance. Also we can implement new features more easily and respond faster to user feedback.
Many features from AmiGO are available in the TomTom app, along with new enhancements that improve the overall experience.

We want to reassure you that the essential features for route planning, navigation, and timely alerts remain intact, and we’re excited about future enhancements that will continue to elevate your experience.

Get precise maps and detailed turn-by-turn navigation around the world. - Drive efficiently with live traffic updates
Get precise updates on speed limits, roadworks, closures, bad road conditions, and hazards on the road. - Stay aware of speed limits
We have the most comprehensive database of speed cameras info in Europe and North America. - EV navigation (Android for now, iOS is on our roadmap)
Find the closest EV charging station, parking and POIs (the most complete and rich list of EV POIs in Europe). Customise your EV profile, add charging preferences and get detailed info about EV charging stations.

- Parking: Find an available parking spot next to you (Android and iOS)
Features not currently planned: While we appreciate your suggestions, these concepts are not on our current roadmap. We will keep monitoring user feedback:
- Login option
- Bluetooth auto-start: This feature has been deprioritised due to low usage, but we continue to assess user feedback for potential reconsideration.
Discontinued features: To enhance app performance and usability, we have removed the following features:
- Overlay mode (Android): We decided to eliminate this feature to focus on providing a comprehensive suite of driving tools that support users in various scenarios, rather than as a standalone warning tool. We encourage you to leverage the full capabilities of the TomTom app for safer and more enjoyable journeys.
