With the transition from AmiGO to the TomTom app we're upgrading the app to our latest technical infrastructure. This allows an improved app performance. Also we can easier implement new features and responses faster to user feedback.
Improved user experience
The TomTom app features a modern and intuitive visual design that enhances usability.
Most of the key functionalities you know from AmiGO are maintained in TomTom. At the same time we provide a more efficient and streamlined experience. We made it our priority to improve the user experience, for example the instruction panel is now more prominent, and the road alerts are less distracting.

As part of our transition to the TomTom app, we focused on enhancing the core functionalities that are most valuable to our users. Some features were removed to streamline the app and improve overall performance, ensuring a more intuitive experience. We want to reassure you that the essential features for route planning, navigation, and timely alerts remain intact, and we’re excited about future enhancements that will continue to elevate your experience.

We have decided to discontinue this feature. It wasn't widely used and required continuous development. This allows us to focus on improving other features that provide greater value.
