On many TomTom navigation solutions you can select an electric engine type in your vehicle profile. You are then shown the location and availability of electric vehicle charging stations.

Select an electric vehicle type to be shown EV chargers:
- From the Main Menu, go to Settings.
- Tap Vehicle Profile.
- Tap Engine type.
- Select Electric or Hybrid > Electric.
EV chargers are now shown along your planned route.
To see EV chargers in the map view tap Charging Station from the Main Menu.
TomTom app
(Android for now, iOS to follow)
Select an electric vehicle type to be shown EV chargers:
- From the Main Menu, tap My car.
- Tap Electric – Add car.
- Select your car brand, model and manufacture date.
With this car selection, while planning a trip you can set battery levels for your car. This way the app can determine if any charging stops are needed along your route.
- Tap Current location to set the charging level when you start driving.
- Tap your destination to set what charging level you expect upon arrival.
On the summary screen once you planned a route, swipe up to see a list of charging stops (if applicable). Tap a charging stop for more details.
GO Expert app
Select an electric vehicle type to be shown EV chargers:
- From the Main Menu, go to Settings.
- Tap Vehicle Profile.
- Tap Engine type or Engine.
- Select Electric or Hybrid > Electric.
EV chargers are now shown along your planned route.
To see EV chargers in the map view tap Charging Station or Charging park from the Main Menu.
The iOS app cannot show availability.
